GENERAL RESEARCH

These are some of the contents pages that I found when looking for music magazine contents pages. This one is not particularly what I am looking for and does not really fit the style of my magazine. However I do like some things about this one. The pictures are quite focused to the genre and the layout is neat and not too text heavy. I like the way the text is laid out with numbers next to it and how the text headings are bigger than the rest of the writing.













I like this one more that the above one. The pictures are all really bright and eye catching and I really like the way they are laid out. I like the text in the middle and the way it is placed directly in the centre. Although this contents page is not from a music magazine and is from a fashion and beauty magazine, it is still in the style of what I am aiming to make and my target audience would also read this kind of fashion magazine.

 












Again this contents page is not from a music magazine but the same applies with this one in that it fits the style quite well. I really like the image on the right and the lights and shades of colour that have been used. The same as the other one, I like the text being in the centre and I also like the two lines either side of the writing. I do not like that pictures that are on the left hand side and I think that look to randomly placed there.
